Some results on the multiple access channel with state information

Abstract:

Recent results on the capacity of the multiple access channel with state information (which can be complete, noisy or quantized), at the encoders and/or decoder will be discussed. The emphasis will be on a converse coding approach that has connections with control.

Biography:

Nevroz Sen received the B.Sc. degree in electrical and electronics engineering from the Middle East Technical University, Turkey, 2003, and the M.Eng. degree in mathematics and engineering from Queen’s University, Kingston, ON, Canada, in 2009, where he is currently pursing the Ph.D. degree in mathematics and engineering. In 2004–2008, he was with the
research and development department of Nortel NETAS, Turkey, where he worked as a software design engineer. His research interests include information theory and stochastic control.
