Structure and Stability in Feedback Networks

David Hill, Australian National University

Abstract:

Networked systems in general consist of a dynamical network (DN) consisting of interconnected dynamical nodes and a controller network (CN) consisting of controller agents and information links. Together we call this a feedback network. Its structure is represented by two Laplacian matrices A and B for the DN and CN respectively as well as the dynamics of the nodes and agents. This talk will focus on questions of stability and stabilizablity in feedback networks as related to the structures in matrices A, B, as well as complexities such as non-identical nodes, time-delays, switching and impulsive controls.
